WHAT WE BELIEVE

Love God
We believe that God is the Creator of all that exists, and that He exists eternally in three Persons: Father, Son (Jesus) and Holy Spirit. We believe that God created us to love Him, worship Him and give Him glory. We believe that sin has kept us from knowing, loving and worshipping God as He intended us to, but that Jesus died on the cross to bridge that gap and was physically resurrected, and now offers all who believe in Him a restored relationship with God. We believe that this restored relationship with God is a free and undeserved gift based in the love of God, given at God’s initiative, and must be received personally by each individual in faith. We believe the Bible is God’s Word, a true and fully accurate account of God’s love for us. Its purpose is to help us have a healthy relationship with Him, and each other.

Love Others
We believe that Jesus established His Church for the purpose of being a living demonstration of God’s love in the world and to share how each individual can find peace with God in Jesus. We believe the church is a family for the purpose of mutual support, spiritual growth, and cooperative effort to make a difference in our community and the world. We believe that God cares about every need of every person and that those who follow Christ are to show His love and care for every person. Every Christ follower is called to be a like Jesus in both acts of loving service and a willingness to help others have a healthy and vibrant relationship with God.
